How to create product locations for parts/services on the Zuper Web App?

How to create product locations for parts/services on the Zuper Web App?

The users should pre-define the locations for the parts/services under the settings module so that the locations will be pre-filled while using the parts/services module.

Navigation: Settings --> Parts & Services --> Configurations 

1. Select the “Settings” icon from the left panel, and under the “Configuration Settings” section, choose  “Parts and Services.

2. Under “Configurations,” select the “Product Location” option.



3. Select the “+ New Location” option to add the new product location.


4. Enter the following details on the “Create New Product Location” pop-up:


Location Name

(Mandatory Field)

The name of the product’s location.

Location Type

(Mandatory Field)

Choose the type of product’s location. The options can be Warehouse, Site, Van, or Others.

Can FE access this location?

The field executives can access the location based on the conditions set.

The options are:

All field executives.

Only Assigned field executives.

Only Assigned Teams.

Address (Pick From Map)

The “Enter the address” option helps to type the address and view the exact location on the map.

Street

Enter the street of the product location.

Landmark

Enter the landmark of the product location.

City

Enter the city of the product location.

State

Enter the state of the product location.

Country

Enter the country of the product location.

Zip Code

Enter the Zip Code of the product location.

Location Description

Enter the description of the product location.

Select the “Save Location” option to save the product location and select the “Close” option to exit the pop-up.

5. Select the edit icon      to modify the product location.


6. Enter the following details on the “Update Product Location” pop-up:

 

Location Name

(Mandatory Field)

The name of the product’s location.

Location Type

(Mandatory Field)

Choose the type of product’s location to modify the location. The options can be Warehouse, Site, Van, or Others.

Can FE access this location?

The field executives can access the location based on the conditions set.

The options are:

All field executives.

Only Assigned field executives.

Only Assigned Teams.

Address (Pick From Map)

The “Enter the address” option helps fetch the required address from the map.

Street

You can now edit the street of the product location.

Landmark

You can now edit the landmark of the product location.

City

You can now edit the city of the product location.

State

You can now edit the state of the product location.

Country

You can now edit the country of the product location.

Zip Code

You can now edit the Zip Code of the product location.

Location Description

You can now edit the description of the product location.

 Select the “Update Location” option to save the modified product location and select the “Close” option to exit the pop-up. 

7. Select the delete icon        to delete the existing location, and a pop-up will appear to confirm the “Delete Location” option.





Note: “Re-assign products to another location” option helps you assign the current products to different locations.

The product locations are critical for the parts & services as the location plays a significant role for the field executives to locate them to do a seamless service.
