How to access and manage parts & services in the Zuper mobile app

The parts & service module in Zuper is designed to streamline the management of products and services within your field service operations. It allows field technicians to efficiently access detailed product information, enabling them to quickly resolve issues and perform services effectively. This module is essential for ensuring accurate tracking of parts and providing technicians with the information they need to deliver quality service.

In this article, you will learn how to navigate the parts & service listing and details pages. We'll cover how to view and search for products, apply filters, and sort data, as well as how to efficiently track and manage stock movements across different locations. Whether you're using the mobile or tablet version, this article will help you maximize Zuper's features to enhance your parts and service management process.


Accessing parts & services listing page

To view the list of parts & services:  

1. Select the "Parts & Services" module from the top-left hamburger  icon.

2.   The Parts & Services listing page will display a list of all parts and services.

3. Use the "Search" icon to search for a specific part, product, and service.

4. Use the “Filter” icon to sort and filter the parts, products, and services.

Accessing parts & services details page

To view each of the parts & service details, follow these steps:

1. Select the "Parts & Services" module from the top-left hamburger  icon. You can view the list of parts & services on the listing page. 

2. Choose a part or service from the list. You can view the specific parts unit selling price, category, available quantity, and more under the "Details" tab.

3. To view additional information, click the associated tabs: Location and Transaction. 
  1. Location:  This displays the selected product and parts location details. With this, you can understand the available and minimum quantity details of the product.
  2. Transaction: This displays the transaction history of the selected product/part/service.

4. You can also mark the product as available/unavailable by selecting the "kebab" icon at the top right corner of the screen.



Quick actions

In addition to viewing parts & services details, you can also perform additional quick actions such as updating stock and viewing barcodes. 

Updating stock

The "Update Stock" feature helps you manage the movement of products. Follow these steps:

1. Click the "Update Stock" icon at the top of the screen. A dialog box appears.
Choose any of the following options:
  1. Create inward transaction
  2. Create outward transaction
  3. Create transfer transaction
If chosen, inward transaction (stock entry), provide the following details:
  1. Inward Location (Mandatory): Enter the location where the product is being received.
  2. Quantity (Mandatory): Enter the quantity of products being received.
  3. Remarks (Mandatory): Add any additional comments.
  4. Serial Numbers (Optional): Enter the serial numbers for the incoming products, if applicable.

If chosen, outward transaction (stock exit), provide the following details and click the "Create" button:
  1. Outward Location (Mandatory): Enter the location from where the product is being sent.
  2. Quantity (Mandatory): Enter the quantity of products being sent.
  3. Remarks (Mandatory): Add any additional comments.
  4. Serial Numbers (Optional): Enter the serial numbers for the outgoing products, if applicable.

If chosen, transfer transaction (warehouse transfer), provide the following details:
  1. Send From Location (Mandatory): Enter the location from where the product is being transferred.
  2. Send To Location (Mandatory): Enter the receiving location.
  3. Quantity (Mandatory): Enter the quantity of products being transferred.
  4. Remarks (Mandatory): Add any additional comments.
  5. Serial Numbers (Optional): Enter the serial numbers for the transferred products, if applicable.

Viewing barcode

To view the barcode of the specific product, part, or service, click the "Barcode" icon at the top of the screen.
