How to integrate and use Sales Message with Zuper?

With our new Zuper-Sales Message Link SMS integration, you can connect your Sales Message account to Zuper and automatically send outbound text messages through your Sales Message number.


The Sales Message Link App is a popular SMS App based out of the USA region. 

Note: If you have the Sales Message Link plan and are from anywhere, you can use this integration. 

You must mandatorily create a Sales Message developer account and subscribe to any Sales Message SMS pricing plan

A. How to connect your Sales Message with Zuper? 

1. Open a new tab in your browser and once you are logged in to your Zuper Account, click on your Profile Picture on the top right corner of the screen and click on “App Store.





















2.  Under the “Browse by Category,” select the “Telephony, Video and SMS” option and choose “Sales Message.”


3. Click on the “Install Sales Message" button.



Note: With Zuper and Sales Message SMS tabs open, you can switch between the accounts for integration.

Note: Kindly note that SMS or Text messages should be enabled for the end users.


Navigation: Customers --> Edit Customer --> Notification Preferences




4.  Update Zuper Settings by configuring the following fields:


 a. Zuper API Key (Mandatory Field) – Enter the Zuper's API Key. (Click here: How to generate Zuper API Key).
 b. Personal Access Token (Mandatory Field) – Enter the Sales Message Client ID. 
Get the Personal Access Token from Sales Message Link Page. Go to Settings --> Developer Settings  --> Personal Access Tokens ---> Create Token 

c. Sales Message Team Name (Mandatory Field) – Enter the Sales Message Team Name. 
Get the Team Name from Sales Message Link Page. Go to Settings --> Organization  --> Inboxes -->Name


Select the “Update” button to complete the integration of Zuper with Sales Message.


B. How does Zuper – Sales Message Integration work?

1. Whenever new notifications need to be sent to the Customer, the alerts are sent as SMS via Sales Message integration.

Select the “Customer” module from the left panel and choose the Customer you want to notify. 

Customers --> Existing Customers or New Customers.




2. Under More Actions,” select the “Send Email / SMS” option from the top right corner.



3. Send SMS Settings by configuring the following fields:

 Contact Via (Mandatory Field) – Select the “SMS” option to send the notification.

 

      Contact Number (Mandatory Field) – Select the “Contact Number” for which you want to send the notification.

 

      SMS Body (Mandatory Field) – Enter the notification message here.

 

Available Components (Optional Field) – Choose the relevant components for which the notification is applicable. 


Select the “Send” button to send an SMS from Zuper via Sales Message. 


C. How to Uninstall Sales Message from Zuper? 

1. Open a new tab in your browser and once you are logged in to your Zuper Account, click on your Profile Picture on the top right corner of the screen and click on “App Store.





















2.  Under the “Browse by Category,” select the “Telephony, Video and SMS” option and choose “Sales Message.”


3. Click the “Uninstall App” button.



4. The Sales Message app is uninstalled successfully.


SMS notifications are also a great way to inform the user of the latest job updates. With this one-way integration, data flows from Zuper to Sales Message SMS and notifies the Customer as an SMS.
