How to integrate and use RingCentral with Zuper

With our new Zuper-RingCentral integration, you can connect your RingCentral account to Zuper, automatically send outbound text messages, and make calls through your RingCentral number.

Note: The RingCentral widget is not impacted or refreshed when navigating to other Zuper pages. 

Product Demo Experience:

A. How to connect your RingCentral number with Zuper?

     1. Open a new tab in your browser, and once you are logged in to your Zuper Account, click on your profile picture at the top right corner of the screen and click “App Store.”

2. Under the “Browse by Category,” select the “Telephony, Video and SMS” option and choose “RingCentral.”

3. Click the “Install RingCentral" button.

     4. Enter the phone or email ID and click the “Next” button.

5. Click the “Authorize” button to install RingCentral

Note: The "SMS / Text Notifications" option should be enabled for the customers.

Navigation: Customers --> Edit Customer --> Notification Preferences.

6. Enter the "From Number (Mandatory Field)" - Enter the registered RingCentral number to update the RingCentral settings. This is the number from which outbound SMS is sent.

Select the “Update” button to complete the integration of Zuper with RingCentral. 

B. How does Zuper – RingCentral Integration work?

1. Whenever new notifications need to be sent to the Customer, the alerts are sent as SMS and call via RingCentral integration.

Select the “Customer” module from the left panel and choose the Customer you want to notify. 

Navigation: Customers --> Edit Customer --> Notification Preferences.

2. Under “More Actions,” select the “Send Email / SMS” option from the top right corner.

3. Send SMS by configuring the following fields:

1. Contact Via (Mandatory Field) – Select the “SMS” option to send the notification.
2. Contact Number (Mandatory Field) – Select the “Contact Number” for which you want to send the notification.
3. SMS Body (Mandatory Field) – Enter the notification message here.
4. Available Components – Choose the relevant components for which the notification is applicable. 
   

4. You can click on a phone no. on the jobs details page to call assignees or on the customer details page to call customers via RingCentral dialer.

C. How to Uninstall RingCentral from Zuper? 

 1. Open a new tab in your browser, and once you are logged in to your Zuper Account, click on your profile picture at the top right corner of the screen and click “App Store.”

2. Under the “Browse by Category,” select the “Telephony, Video and SMS” option and choose “RingCentral.”

3. Click on the “Uninstall App” button.

4. The RingCentral app is uninstalled successfully.
