With our new Zuper-CloudTalk integration, you can connect your CloudTalk account to Zuper and automatically send outbound SMS through your CloudTalk number.
The CloudTalk App is a popular phone app based out of the European region and they support nearly 160+ countries.
It is necessary to create a CloudTalk account and subscribe to the essentials plan or above.
A. How to connect your CloudTalk with Zuper?
1. Open a new tab in your browser and once you are logged in to your Zuper Account, click on your Profile Picture on the top right corner of the screen and click on “App Store.”
2. Under the “Browse by Category,” select the “Telephony, Video and SMS” option and choose “Cloudtalk.”
3. Click on the “Install CloudTalk" button.
Note: Kindly note that "SMS / Text Notifications" option should be enabled for the customers. Navigation: Customers --> Edit Customer --> Notification Preferences
4. Update Zuper settings by configuring the following fields:
b. CloudTalk Access Key ID (Mandatory Field) – Enter the CloudTalk access key ID.
Get the Personal Access Token from CloudTalk Page. Go to Settings --> API Keys ---> Access Key ID
c. CloudTalk Access Key Secret (Mandatory Field) – Enter the CloudTalk Access Key Secret.
Get the Access Key Secret from CloudTalk Page. Go to Settings --> API Keys ---> Access Key Secret ---> Show
Select the “Update” button to complete the integration of Zuper with CloudTalk.
B. How does Zuper – CloudTalk Integration work?
1. Whenever new notifications need to be sent to the Customer, the alerts are sent as SMS via CloudTalk integration.
Select the “Customer” module from the left panel and choose the Customer you want to notify.
Navigation: Customers --> Existing Customers or New Customers.
2. Under “More Actions,” select the “Send Email / SMS” option from the top right corner.
3. Send SMS by configuring the following fields:
Contact Via (Mandatory Field) – Select the “SMS” option to send the notification.
Contact Number (Mandatory Field) – Select the “Contact Number” for which you want to send the notification.
SMS Body (Mandatory Field) – Enter the notification message here.
Select the “Send” button to send an SMS from Zuper via CloudTalk.
C. How to Uninstall CloudTalk from Zuper?
1. Open a new tab in your browser and once you are logged in to your Zuper Account, click on your Profile Picture on the top right corner of the screen and click on “App Store.”
2. Under the “Browse by Category,” select the “Telephony, Video and SMS” option and choose “Cloudtalk.”
3. Click on the “Uninstall CloudTalk" button.
4. The CloudTalk is uninstalled successfully.
SMS notifications are also a great way to inform the user of the latest job updates. With this one-way integration, data flows from Zuper to CloudTalk SMS and notifies the Customer as an SMS.
