How to use the “Generate by” option for the on-demand reports?

Navigation: Reports and Analytics --> Scheduled Reports

The system automatically generates the information based on the schedule frequency and time set by the user. The manual intervention for the report generation is automated, saving the user time.  

1. Click the “Reports” module from the left panel. 



2. Tap on the “Scheduled Reports” from the top section. 


3. Then select “+ New Scheduled Report” from the subsection. 


4. Enter the following details:

A) Enter the “Schedule Report Name” details.  

B) Enter the “Report Type” detail. The report can be either “Default Report” or “Custom Report. 

C) Choose the required “Report Module” detail and select the respective “Choose Report.” 

D) Select the “Generate Report By” option to schedule the report based on “Created Date,” “Due Date,” Scheduled Date,” “Current Status Updated at.” -- This is what is being highlighted in the screenshot.


 E) Fill in the necessary “Job Category” and select the schedule frequency, which can be “Daily, Every Week, Every Month, and Every Year.” 

 F) The report sending time can be set using the “Send At” option, and the frequency of days schedule can be set using “Report Data Duration.” 

 G) The “Send To” email address, email subject, and the email body to be filled.  

5. Add the required details and tap on the “Create Scheduled Report” button, for the user to schedule, with a single click.


The auto-generation of reports for the job is done quickly, and thus the user gets the scheduled reports on time. Therefore, manual intervention for the report generation is automated, saving the user time.
