How to set the custom job fields on Zuper web app?

Navigation:  Settings -->  Custom Fields and Checklist Settings -->Job Fields  --> (Select the single line / Multiple line input) --> Choose First Option by Default.

The user can set the Choose First option as the placeholder while predefining a checklist or custom field as default. Now, the user can create a group for multiple job categories.

1. Select the “Settings” module from the left navigation menu, choose the “Custom Fields & Checklist Settings,” and select the “Job Fields” section.



2. From the "Settings" icon, select the "New Group" option.



3. Enter the "Group Name" and all the relevant categories. Select the "Submit" button to confirm the new group creation.



4. Select the “Custom Field” for which you want to predefine the first option as default and check mark on the “Choose First Option by Default?” and click the “Save” button option 

Finally, click the “Save Fields” button.

Under the current job custom fields, when you choose from your selected custom fields, a pop-up will appear. 

Mark a tick on the "Check Box" to define the “Dependent Field.”

 Click the “Save” button to add the custom field for the checklist. 



3. You can view the custom fields and the predefined option set for the checklist while creating a new job.



NotesNote: If a particular field needs to be hidden from Field Technicians on the "Zuper" mobile application, click on the field, select the "Hide to Field Executive / Technician" checkbox, and click "Save."

Note: If a particular field needs to be a read-only field on the "Zuper" mobile application, click on the field, select the "Mark as Read-only" checkbox, and click "Save."

Custom fields defined by a business often have dependent aspects and play a substantial role in ensuring checklist progress. While creating a new job, proper validations are performed for user-defined fields.
