How to manage recurring shift management in Zuper Web App?

You can now set the recurrent shift timings for the users from the settings and assign them under the employee’s modules.

Navigation: Settings -->Configuration Settings --> Timesheet Settings --> Master Shifts

Create Recurring Shifts in the Settings:

1. Select the “Settings” icon from the left panel. Under the “Configuration Settings,” choose the “Timesheet Settings.”



2. Under the “Configurations,” select the “Master Shifts” and choose the + New Shift” button. 



3. Create New Shift pop-up appears:
a. Shift Name (Mandatory) – Enter the name of the shift. 
b. From Time (Mandatory)  – Choose the shift's start time. 
c. To Time (Mandatory) – Choose the end time of the shift. 
d. Choose Frequency (Mandatory) – Choose the shift frequency range. 
e. Repeat Every (Mandatory)  – Enter the number to which the shift can be repeated. 
Choose the “Save” button to create the new shift. 



4. The new recurring shift is created successfully. 


5. Select the “Edit” icon to modify the recurring shift. 


6. Select the “Delete” icon to delete the shift details. 



Create Shift for the Employees

1. Select the “Employees” icon from the left panel and choose “Manage Shift.”


2. Choose the “+ New Employee Shift” button. 



3. Create New Employee Shift pop-up appears:
a. Employee (Mandatory) – Enter the name of the shift. 
b. Choose Shift (Mandatory) – Choose the shift frequency range. 
c, Shift Start Date (Mandatory)  – Choose the start date of the shift. 
d. Shift End Date (Mandatory) – Choose the end date of the shift. 
e. Shift Time (Optional) – Choose the shift days by marking a checkbox on the square box. 
Choose the “Create” button to create the new shift. 


4. The new employee shift is created successfully. 


With this new feature, shifts required for the employees can be repeatedly created, and this helps the business define the shift timings once and reuse them many times. 

Consider User Shifts in Assisted Scheduling

Job  --> + New Create Job  -->Job Details Tab  --> Use Assisted Scheduling  --> Consider User Shift  -->Yes.
The assisted scheduling helps the user to choose the right slots while creating a new job,

This allows the user to choose the slot based on the technicians' available time slots and availability slots. 


1. Select the "Jobs" module from the left panel and select the "Create New Job" option. 

 
2. Fill in all the required details under the “Customer Details” tab.



3. Fill in the necessary details under the “Job Details” tab and click the “Use Assisted Scheduling” button.


4. i) Select the "Choose View" option to select the – Slot View.

   ii) Select the "Choose Date" option to fix the scheduled date for the job.

   iii) Select the "Choose Team" option to select the team.

   iv) Select the "Choose a Slot" option to select the time for the job. 

Select the required skill and service territory.

Our new feature allows you to consider user shifts reflecting the exact live results while choosing the slot or resource views.

 

Click the “Use This Schedule” button for the exact date and time. 

5. . Select the user from the "Assign Employees" tab, and after previewing all the details, save the job using the "Preview and Save" tab.


 

 The job schedule is now efficiently done with the intelligent scheduling option of real-time employee shift data. The users and time slot options will help the back office set job schedules flawlessly.
