How to do Bulk Action Updates on Jobs/Customers /Quotes?

The bulk action on the Jobs, Customers, and Quotes modules helps you to

1.       Update (Job/Customers/Quotes).

2.      Send an email or SMS (Job/Customers/Quotes).

3.      Delete the line items in a single click (Job/Customers/Quotes).

A. Jobs: 

1. Select the “Jobs” icon from the left navigation menu. Mark a checkmark on the Jobs for which you will bulk update.

Click the “Link Parent Job” button from the bulk update option. 



2. The “Link Parent Job” pop-up appears. Select the Job and click the “Update” button to link the parent job.


2. Mark a check on the tiny “Square box” to select the required Jobs and perform the bulk action.


3. The parent job is linked successfully.


4.  If the user needs to bulk update, select the “Update Field” option from the bulk action section and select the field to be updated.

 The fields are updated in bulk successfully. 

Send Bulk SMS/Email

4. If the user needs to send bulk SMS/email from the bulk action section, select the “Send Email / SMS” option and select the “Send” option.

The user can easily enhance the reminders with the new rich text editor option. In the email body, the enriched editor allows you to edit the text, highlighting the text similarly many formatting can be done.   


                                      I.        Undo & Redo: The icon’s action helps you undo and redo the current action performed. 

                                    II.        Bold: This icon helps you to highlight the text in bold.   

                                   III.        Italic: This icon helps you to highlight the text in italic.   

                                  IV.        Underline: This icon helps you to underline the text.   

                                    V.        Strikethrough: This icon helps you to strikethrough the text.   

                                  VI.        Font size: This icon helps you to increase the font.   

                                 VII.        Recent color: This icon helps you provide the text’s color.   

                                VIII.        Unorder list: This icon helps you to set the index to an unordered one.   

                                   IX.        Order list: This icon helps you to set the index to ordered one.   

                                    X.        Paragraph: This icon helps you to align your sections easily.   

                                   XI.        Line Space: This icon helps you to provide the necessary line space.   

                                 XII.        Table: This icon helps you to add a fresh table.   

                                XIII.        Attachment: This icon helps you to add new attachments.   

                               XIV.        Video: This icon helps you to add a fresh video.   

                                 XV.        Help: This shows you how to use the shortcuts for the editor.   


Bulk Delete Jobs:
5. Select the “Delete” option from the bulk action section



6. Tap the “Delete” option on the pop-up window if the user needs to bulk delete.



Bulk Assign Route

 Navigation:  Jobs --> Job -->  Filter (Assign to Route as “No”) -->  Bulk Select Action -->  Assign Route

You can bulk assign the routes in a single click for the Job after doing the filter action. 


1. Select the “Jobs” module from the left panel and select the filter icon. 



2. Select “Filter by Route” as “No.”



3. Mark, check on the tiny “Square box,” select the required invoices to perform the bulk action, and select “Assign to Route.



4.  Select the existing “Route” for which you want to add the Job. The date picker on the Assign Route dialog can be used to pick the date to show the routes of that day.

       Route Name – The name identifies the Route.

       Assigned To – The name of the assigned employees.

       Starting Location – The initial location of the Route. 




5. The jobs are assigned to the routes successfully.



B. Customers:

1.   Select the “Customers” module from the left panel.


2.  Mark a check on the tiny “Square box” to select the required customers and perform the bulk action.


3. If the user needs to bulk update, select the “Update Field” option from the bulk action section and select the field to be updated.


4. Select the “Update Field” option from the bulk action section and tap the “Update” option on the pop-up window if the user needs to bulk-update.


The bulk action is done successfully. 

Bulk Email action:

 5.  If the user needs to send bulk SMS/email from the bulk action section, select the “Send Email / SMS” option

Bulk Activate customer:

6. Select the “Activate” option from the bulk action section




7. Select the “Activate” option on the pop-up window. 

7. Select the “Deactivate” option from the bulk action section






8. Select the “Deactivate” option on the pop-up window if the user needs to bulk-deactivate.


C. Quotes:

1. Select the “Quotes” module from the left panel.


2. Mark a check on the tiny “Square box” to select the required quotes and perform the bulk action.  


3. If the user needs to bulk update, select the “Update Field” option from the bulk action section and select the field to be updated.

4.  Select the “Update Quote Status” option from the bulk action section and tap the “Update Status” option on the pop-up window if the user needs to bulk-update.


These are the steps to optimally bulk update the Jobs / Customers / Quotes.
