How to create Custom Team Fields?

Navigation: Settings -->Custom Fields and Checklist Settings  -->Team Fields  

You can create your own Custom Fields that are tailored to your business. Creating a custom field in the team custom fields module will be displayed on the New Team Creation and the Teams Details Page.

  1. To create a Custom Teams Field, navigate to the "Settings
    " icon in the Menu.
  2. Locate the "Custom Fields & Checklist Settings" section and select "Team Fields.”
  3. You will be directed to the "Team Fields" page, which displays different types of fields available at your disposal as "Available Components."

1. Select the “Settings” module from the left panel. Choose the “Custom Fields & Checklist Settings” and select the “Team Fields” section.



2. 2. Drag and drop the required custom field components. The following are the custom field components that are available.
  1. Single-Line Input: 
    This allows you to create a field to enter a single line of free text. 
  2. Date Input: 
    This allows you to create a field where you can select a specific date from a calendar.
  3. Time Input: 
    This allows you to create a field where you can select a specific time.
  4. Date Time Input: 
    This allows you to create a field where both date and time can be selected.
  5. Multi-Line Input: 
    This allows you to create a field to enter multiple lines of free text.
  6. Drop-down: 
    This allows you to create a drop-down field with the required list of options.
  7. Checkbox Input: 
    This allows you to create checkboxes where the provided options can be checked.
  8. Radio Input:
     This allows you to create a Radio Input Field where one of the provided options can be selected. 
  9. File Input:
     This allows you to upload files.
  10. Lookup: This allows you to find the products. 


Click the Save Fields button to save the custom fields.

Note: If a particular field needs to be hidden from Field Technicians on the "Zuper" mobile application, click on the field, select the "Hide to Field Executive / Technician" checkbox, and click "Save.

Note: If a particular field needs to be a read-only field on the "Zuper" mobile application, click on the field, select the "Mark as Read-only" checkbox, and click "Save.

Note: If a particular field needs to be a hidden field on the "Zuper" mobile application, click on the field, select the "Mark as Hidden Field" checkbox, and click "Save.”

Note: If a particular field needs to be a mandatory field on the "Zuper" mobile application, click on the field, select the "Mark as Required" checkbox, and click "Save.

3. Click “Update” to modify the custom fields.




4. The custom fields are created successfully.



 

Custom fields defined by a business often have dependent aspects and play a substantial role in ensuring checklist progress. While creating a new team, proper validations are performed for user-defined fields. 

Businesses can maintain more fields for teams, such as Team tags, etc. They can use custom fields for this.
