How to Create and Edit Job Templates on Zuper Web App?

Job templates can be used to give a brief description of the job. These templates can be added to customer email notifications, invoices, and quotes. 

Navigation: Settings --> Configuration Settings --> Job Settings --> Job Card Templates

Creating Job Templates

1. Select the "Settings" module from the left panel and under the "Configuration Settings," choose the Job Settings. 
2. Select the "Job Card Templates" section. Now, click on the "New Job Card Template" button.  
  1. This will prompt a Create New Job Card Template dialog. Enter a name for your New Job Template
  2. In the "Select Category" dropdown, select the specific job category for which this template is being created. You can choose multiple job categories

  1. Add a description of the template in the Template Description text box.
  2. Enter the required information for the template, if you want to create the template using HTML, click on the "HTML" toggle button on the top right.
  3. Enter "Format," "Orientation," and "Border" details. 
  4. You can select the "Editor" option to enter the required template details. 

The user can easily enhance the email with the new rich text editor option. In the email body, the enriched editor allows you to edit the text, highlighting the text similarly many formatting can be done.   

                i.        Undo & Redo: The icon's action helps you undo and redo the current action performed. 

              ii.        Bold: This icon helps you highlight the text in bold.   

             iii.        Italic: This icon helps you highlight the text in italic.   

             iv.        Underline: This icon helps you underline the text.   

              v.        Strikethrough: This icon helps you strikethrough the text.   

             vi.        Font size: This icon helps you increase the font.   

            vii.        Recent color: This icon helps you provide the text's color.   

          viii.        Unorder list: This icon helps set the index to an unordered one.   

             ix.        Order list: This icon helps you set the index to ordered one.   

              x.        Paragraph: This icon helps you align your sections easily.   

             xi.        Line Space: This icon helps you provide the necessary line space.   

            xii.        Table: This icon helps you add a fresh table.   

           xiii.        Attachment: This icon helps you add new attachments.   

           xiv.        Video: This icon helps you add a fresh video.   

            xv.         Help: This shows you how to use the shortcuts for the editor.   

      10. The available components can be used to insert the respective information from Zuper into the template.

      11. Select the "Valid Template" option to validate the template.      
      12. Fill in all required fields and select "Save Template" to create a new job template. 


Editing Job Templates

Navigation: Settings --> Configuration Settings --> Job Settings --> Job Card Templates 

  1. Once you click on the Job Card Templates field in the left pane of the Job Settings Page, you will see a list of all job templates.   
  2. To edit a job template, click on the "Edit" icon on the specific job template which you would like to edit.
  3. It will prompt open the "Edit Job Card Template" dialog.
  4. You can customize the template and click on "Validate Template" to check whether the customization was a success.
  5. If there are any issues with your template, you will get an Error Message right below the Template Description text box.
  6. Once you have made the required changes, click on "Update Template".


Try New Editor

Navigation: Settings --> Configuration Settings --> Job Settings --> Job Card Templates

The "Try New Editor"  option helps you to build or edit the template by simple drag and drop of components or with the code editor. 

1. Select the "Settings" module from the left panel and under the "Configuration Settings," choose the Job Settings and select the "Job Card Templates" section. 
Click the "Edit" button."


2. Click the "Try the New Editor" button. 


3. You have two ways to edit the template. 
Visual Editor - The Visual Editor helps you to drag and drop the design components, use the Helpers and Components option to modify the template. 
Code Editor - The Code Editor helps you to enter the coding and create the template. 


4. You can select "Choose Helpers" option to format the components that you drag and drop in the template. 

5. You can select "Choose Components" option to drag and drop the place holders of the module.  


6. You can drag and drop the necessary design components to build the template. 


7. The various options are available to edit the template. 
  - View and hide the designs in the template. 

 - View the template design in the full screen. 

 - View the code mode of the created template. 

 - Import the existing design template. 

  - Toggle the images present in the template.

  - Zoom in and Zoom out options to view the template design accurately. 

 - Open style manager to add / modify the template . . 

  - Settings helps to manage the template design. Open Manager and Open blocks option helps to automate the template actions. 


8. Click the "Save Template" button to save the Job Card Template. 



9. A pop-up appears and click the "Save" button.



10. The Job card template is saved successfully. 

Delete Job Card Template

  1. Once you click on the Job Card Templates field in the left pane of the Job Settings Page, you will see a list of all job templates.   
  2. To delete a job template, click on the "Delete" icon on the specific job template which you would like to delete.
  3. It will prompt open the "Delete Job Card Template" dialog.
  4. To delete the template, you will have to confirm your action by clicking on the Delete button.


The Job card templates are pre-defined templates that save your time while sharing the Job card template with the customer.
