A
quotation, also known as the estimate, covers the parts or service which is
required to complete a job and approximately how much they will cost.
Quotations are sent to customers before the commencement of a job for
acceptance. Once the customer accepts, technicians will perform the services or
replace the parts listed in the quote to complete a job.
Create a New Quote
1. Select
the "Quotes" module from the top-left hamburger icon.
2. Select the "+“ icon
from the bottom-right corner to create a new Quote.

- Under the "Customer
Details" ”section, select the Organization and Customer information
required for the quote.
- Select the "View
Customer" ”option to see the customer details and choose the property required
for the quote.
- Select
the required Job details to choose a job, job schedule, and job category, and select the required service address.

Select the "Billing
Address" ”or the quote. If the service address and billing address are
the same, click on "Same as the service address."
Select the "Quote
Details" option to add the reference number, quote date, and expiry
date, and choose the template.
Choose the "Add tag"
option under Tags to select the quote tags.
Select the "+“Add"
option to add the product line items for the quote.
Select the "Other
Details" option to add the custom quote field details.
Finally, select the "Create"
button to create the quote.
Convert Quote to Invoice
The created quote can be converted to invoice in a single click.
1.
Select the "Quotes" module from the top-left hamburger icon.
2. From the listing page, select the Quote that is accepted.
3. Select the "Convert to Invoice" button to create a new invoice based on the Quote created.

- Under the "Customer Details" ”section, select the Organization and Customer information required for the Invoice.
- Select the "View Customer" option to see the customer details and choose the property required for the Invoice.
- Select the required Job details to choose a job, job schedule, and job category, and select the required service address.

Select the "Billing Address" or the quote. If the service address and billing address are the same, click on "Same as the service address."
Select the "Invoice Details" ”option to add the reference number, quote date, and expiry date, and choose the template.
Choose the "Add tag" ”option under Tags to select the invoice tags.
Select the "+ Add" option to add the product line items for the Invoice.
Select the "Other Details" ”option to add the custom invoice field details.
Finally, select the "Create" button to create the Invoice.
With this, Invoices make a record of all the business sales, and thus it helps to keep the accounts. In addition, invoices give an overview of the business financial archive.
With this, the total cost of
the Job is calculated with the breakdown of the individual charges that are put
together in the Quotation.
