How to Create a Job/Quote/Invoice for an Organization?

The organization module helps manage the company details, and in this module, you can add edit Organization information with ease. You can create a Job / Quote / Invoice for an organization without any hassle.

Now, this article is split into three significant sections:

      A.      Create a Job for an Organization.

      B.      Create a Quote for an Organization.

      C.      Create an Invoice for an Organization. 

A. Create a Job for an Organization:

      1. Select the “Organizations” module from the left navigation panel. Next, please select one of the organizations to create a new job associated with them. 



2. Click the “+  New Job” button from the top of the section.


3. Click the “Choose Customer” section to select the associated customer for the new Job.


4. Enter the necessary details required for creating a new job.

A.      Customer Details – In this tab, you can enter the details related to the customers from Organization to Billing and Service Details.

B.      Job Details – In this tab, you can enter the specific job details such as Prefix, Job Title, Job Category, Job Priority, Job Type, Parent Job, Job Recurrence, Job Start Time, Job End Time, Due Job Date, Asset, Contract, Job Tags, Parts & Service, and Job Description.

C.      Assign Employees – In this tab, you can assign the employees related to the Job based on availability.

D.     
Preview & Save – In this tab, you can preview the snapshot of the details entered and save the details. 




B. Create a Quote for an Organization:

5. Select the “New Quote” option under the “More Actions” section for the created Job, select the “New Quote” option. 


6. Select the “Choose Organization” option to select the corresponding organization details for which quote for the organization is created.


7. Select the “Choose Customer” option to select the corresponding customer details for which quote for the organization is created.


8. Select the “Service Contact Information” option to select the corresponding service and billing address for which quote for the organization is created.


9. Select the “Choose Line Item” option to select the corresponding product for which a quote for the organization is created.


9.  Select the “Save as Draft” option to save the quote details. 

C. Create an Invoice for an Organization. 

11. Select the “New Invoice” option under the “More Actions” section for the created Job, select the “New Invoice” option.


12. Select the “Choose Organization” option to select the corresponding organization details for which invoice for the organization is created.



13. Under the “Choose Customer” option, select the corresponding customer details for which invoice for the organization is created.

     14. Choose the “Service Contact Information” option to get the related service and billing address for which the organization’s invoice is created.


    15. Select the “Choose Line Item” option to select the corresponding product for which invoice for the organization is created.


16.  Select the “Save as Draft” option to save the invoice details.

 

By following the above steps, you can create a Job / Quote / Invoice for an organization without hassle.
