How do I create a new employee in zuper?

An employee can be created by the Admin or the team leader in two ways.

  • Using the "New" Shortcut from the Dashboard.
  • Directly From the Employees Tab.

 

Steps to create an employee using the "New" Shortcut from the Dashboard

  • Log in to Zuper Account.
  • Click on the 'New' icon from the Menu bar on the top.
  • Select "employee" in the drop-down.
  • The new employee form will be displayed.
  • Enter the Employee Details in the Form
  • Click on "Save Employee"

 

Steps to create an employee directly from the "Employees" Tab

  • Log in to your Zuper Account.
  • Select the "Employees" icon from the Menu bar on the left side.
  • Click on the "New Employee" button on the top right corner of the Employees page.
  • The new Employee form will be displayed.
  • Enter the Employee Details in the Form
  • Click on "Save Employee"

 

Employee Form

Fill in the details in the employee form as follows.

  • EMPLOYEE CODE: A unique code that can include both alphabets and numbers to identify the employee (eg: Z001)
  • FIRST NAME: The Employee's First name.
  • LAST NAME: The Employee's Last name.
  • EMAIL: The Employee's Email address that would be used to access the Zuper account.
  • DESIGNATION: The Employee's designation as per the organization.
  • CHOOSE ROLE: The Employee's Role that as per Zuper (Admin, Team Leader, Field Executive)
    Note: Custome Roles as per your requirement can also be created.

  8. Create a Broadcast for his team members.
Field ExecutiveSales team, Technicians
  1. Zuper Pro

Based on the permission set by the administrator in the Organization Settings.

    1. Interact with Assigned Jobs
    2. Can create or edit customer details
    3. Can create new jobs and customers.
    4. Apply Time-off request.
    5. Can upload files.
    6. Trigger SOS
  • CHOOSE ACCESS ROLE: The Employee's access role signifies the level of access in the "Zuper" console.
    Note: Custome Roles can also be created as per your requirement.
  • PASSWORD: The password that would be used to access the Zuper account.
  • CONFIRM PASSWORD: Confirmation of the password.
  • WORK NUMBER: The Employee's official contact number.
  • HOME NUMBER: The Employee's home number. 
  • WORK HOURS: The Employee's work hours as per each day of the week (Shift Start time, End time, and the number of mins of work)
    Note: The employee's location during work hours can be tracked by selecting yes in the "Track Location" column.
